Character Name: Eugene Fitzherbert (also called Flynn Rider)

Entry position (Cadet, SeeD, Instructor, other): Cadet

History:
http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Flynn_Rider

Abilities & Physical Abnormalities: Thief. Stealing. Agility. Quick movement. Natural superior athletic talent due to constant running from the law. He is capable of maneuvering around difficult obstacles thanks to lithe form and quick feet. He can leap far and can climb walls and trees with the greatest of skill. If it involves sneaking, Flynn can be as surreptitious as he pleases.

Personality: Eugene is a rogue. He’s got a bandit’s heart and a strange sense of modesty and decorum. That is to say, he has no sense of decorum, and if he could steal something from your wallet in a hug, he would! But this is all a little tilted thanks to the interactions with a certain long-haired long-lost princess. Rapunzel takes Eugene’s personality and pulls out the young man from behind the face of suave and cold thievery. She proves that, when Eugene isn’t daring and willing to con his way out of a debt or an arrest, he can be a decent and wonderful person.

He grew up orphan by the name of Eugene Fitzherbert, in a presumably rundown orphanage, struggling to get by. While it was not a bright childhood, he found comfort in helping take care of the other orphans, especially through reading them stories of his favorite storybook hero. He found temporary escape in read The Tales of Flynnigan Rider, which revolved around a classical, do-gooder knight who was so wealthy and heroic that he could do whatever he wanted. Little Eugene envied that knight and when he was old enough and he could not stand the orphanage any longer, he ran away and changed his name to Flynn Rider and turned to stealing. He has a very “think for myself and do for myself” kind of attitude, and when it’s his ass on the line, he will cut the dead weight to get away.

He has a gentle and kind side that he does not push at the front due to years of learning that, not everyone is kind, and it’s best at times in the life of crime to have a wicked grin and a roguish way of promises. When he truly smiles, it is brought on by pure pleasure in something. When he’s enjoying a day out in the city with Rapunzel, or floating in a gondola with her, watching the lanterns. He has issues with enjoying life’s simple pleasures, understandable since the life of a thief consisted of surviving on wit, tricks, speed, and the ability to burglar jewels and get the hell out of dodge before he was captured and or arrested.

He has the capability to be incredibly devoted, as he's willing to fight tooth and nail to rescue Rapunzel, have her back, then willingly let her return to her parents...and then find himself going through the motions and trials of courting the royal Coronian princess. He is willing to do most anything for Rapunzel. If you asked him to jump from a ledge for the sake of Rapunzel's life...well he'd probably stare at you funny for a second or two, but he'd do it!

What are your plans for the character in-game? I want Eugene to have the kind of education he was denied as an orphan. He'll also be able to experience boundaries and issues brought up by "noble" educational fulfillment. Can you see Eugene following the orders of a teacher? I can see him going through a lot of detention slips... But there's also his conforming by Rapunzel. Eugene loves Rapunzel and if she wishes for him to not cause so much mischief (or she may join in, who knows with those two) he will do it!

Anything else? naughta!

Navigating a trail should not be this difficult. Especially with the royal hunting party beside him, with adventuress supreme, Rapunzel, pouring over his map's twin. Nevertheless, he and his fiance were officially, and utterly (amusingly) lost. Eugene avoids the glaring eyes of the head trapper of the hunting party, swearing that there was smoke in the angry, stout man's eyes.

"Ah, 'Punzel," He says, turning his head away from the angry trapper, to the brown-haired princess. She looks up from the map. "I think we've been going in circles for 'bout an hour now." Rapunzel frowns. "'Course it's my fault..."

Rapunzel shakes her head. "But Father said that to make it to the hunting grounds, all we have to do is follow the map!" She ruffles the map a bit in her excitement. "He even gave me extra directions!"

A tiny groan went throughout the front of the hunting party. Eugene knew that all thoughts but his fair Rapunzel's were the same: Damn you, Flynn Rider for letting the dear princess guide the trip! He had a feeling if they didn't reach the hunting grounds soon, then they would find someone to be the hunting game. He really doesn't like the way the trapper's friend continues to compare Eugene's athletic abilities to that of a fox.

Eugene nudged his horse's side, telling it to move over a couple trots toward Rapunzel. Once riding alongside Rapunzel, Eugene tilted his head over to Rapunzel's map.

He could've fallen off the horse right there.

"...'Punzel, did your dad sketch these markers?"

"No, I did! Exactly as he directed."

"...we should have taken your mother's map."
